What data we use

Depending on how you use the website, we may process data such as:

• information about reservations you have made;
• selected dates, accommodation and number of guests;
• information about the status and amount of payments;
• additional requirements that you have specified yourself when making the reservation.

Please do not enter sensitive personal data in the additional requirements field when this is not necessary for providing the service you have requested.

Why we need it

We use the data you provide so that we can:

• accept and process your reservation request;
• verify and confirm the reservation;
• record payments made;
• organise the accommodation;
• process a possible cancellation and refund;
• provide additional services that you have requested;
• provide you with access to your account and "My reservations" if you are a registered user;
• fulfil obligations arising from applicable legislation.

We do not use data provided for a reservation for unrelated purposes without a legal basis for doing so.

If you book without registering

You do not need to create a user account to make a reservation.

We will only ask for the information necessary to process your request, payment and stay.

Not registering does not change the price or the accommodation terms.

Payments

Depending on the selected payment method, part of the process may be carried out through the relevant payment service provider.

Villa Badino stores the information necessary to record the payment against the reservation, but the website should not be used to store bank card details or other payment information that is not necessary for the operation of the reservation system.

When you use an external payment service provider, the processing of data provided directly to that provider is also carried out in accordance with its privacy rules.

How long we keep the data

We do not want to keep personal data longer than necessary.

Information about reservations and related payments is stored for the period necessary to service the stay and to fulfil applicable legal and accounting obligations.

Data relating to registered users may be stored while their account is active, except where the law requires certain information to be retained for a longer period.

Who we provide the data to

We do not sell or provide your personal data to other parties for their advertising purposes.

Access to some of the information may be necessary for providers involved in the operation of the website or the provision of a specific service — for example hosting or payment services.

We provide only the information necessary for the relevant purpose and, where required, work with providers who are obliged to process it appropriately.

Your account

If you have created an account, you can use "My reservations" to view information about your reservations.

Your password is not stored in readable form. The system stores a protected cryptographic representation of it that is necessary to authenticate you.

Do not share your password with other people.

Your rights

Under applicable personal data protection legislation, depending on the specific circumstances, you may request:

• information about the personal data we process about you;
• correction of inaccurate data;
• deletion of data when there is no basis for retaining it;
• restriction of certain processing;
• provision of your data where applicable;
• to object to certain types of processing.

Some data cannot be deleted immediately when its retention is required by law or is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims.

Cookies and technical data

The website may use technical cookies necessary for its normal operation — for example to maintain the user session, account login, security and the reservation process.

If in the future we add analytics, advertising or other optional technologies that require consent, we will give you the opportunity to make the appropriate choice.

There is no need to ask you now whether you accept things that the website does not use.
